First time calling and wanting to find out information about registration for a pet and to get a 'Council Registration Number' and transferred to the 'Community Laws' department. I asked if the operator could guide me through to finding how to ascertain and select the proper form. She guided me in a hurry and when I wanted to further inquire and confirm the form she stated "I'm sorry, I have people on the line I must assist with, I don't have the time to get you there but it is under the forms and animal section"

You all have the right to do what you choose with your land....we wouldn't need these services if we all just spoke to each other:-) if you want to renovate, talk to your neighbours...invite them all for dinner to discuss your plans....take on board their perspectives....most neighbours are happy to talk about plans and cater to your needs. If you are hoping to build near their fence line, offer to buy them block out plants so they won't have to see a wall when they are in their yard, or paint something nice on the wall...art for them to admire whilst in the yard...free will, it really is up to you

The staff is nice and friendly. I've always got good advice and guidance. I love the events organised by the council.

So many unhappy people, organise a meet up somewhere, post it online to get the word out. Talk about moving forward together without the need for services such as this one, money can not by your free will....meet up...don't pay your rates...its your land....your not happy with the service...since when have we become accepting of payment for bad service....you get what you pay for and you pay for what you get...don't get anything...don't pay for anything...bins...instead of paying a yearly payment to the council...keep the money and help some independent truck driver....garbage trucks can be owner operated....more jobs...you pay the business what you would of paid the council....simple...car and dog registrations can be through rescue homes, let them get the money to help with their business...they need it more than council does....stay in your parking spot for no longer than the duration on the signs, who needs parking inspectors, if we are considerate of other people needs:-) if your neighbors are doing things that upset you, talk to them about it, take a cake, or some wine and have a chat, tell them your concerns and come up with solutions, solutions that work for both

Had a parking fine two days ago and have been trying to pay for it ever since. Tried online and on the phone but nothing is working. When I called the council, they said it’s too recent and that it wasn’t in the system yet. Have to try couple of days later! What a joke!

I can see why on Google the reviews are downright low. Not just this instance, but I am sure for many others.

Let's be clear on this, there are other people waiting, I get that, but I am calling for help. So what kind of customer service are you providing when the customer service agent sound like they are in a hurry? You aren't, its rhetorical, its poor service to say the least. I have NEVER had this said to me in other company inquiries, and it was asinine to hear it coming from my Municipality that I live in. I also have been in customer service and no doubt would have been in trouble if I said what she said.
